Husqvarna Automower® 440 iQ

Husqvarna Automower® 440iQ is a wire free robotic mower for lawns up to 8,000 m², delivering centimetre-accurate positioning and a perfectly maintained lawn.

The wire free installation ideally requires 4G coverage across the full lawn – however you can use the included RS1 EPOS reference station if not.

With our included satellite-based technology, the virtual installation is flexible and robust – or you can opt for a wired installation if your yard has poor sky visbility (boundary wires and joiners not included).

Requirements
• The Automower® Connect app – free on the App Store and Google Play.
• Husqvarna Cloud coverage or the included EPOS® RS1 reference station. Use the Husqvarna Cloud Coverage Checker to confirm whether your property is covered by the free cloud service. If your property is outside cloud coverage, the EPOS® RS1 reference station (included) will be used instead.
• For extra-large or complex installations, professional installation by an Authorised Husqvarna Dealer is recommended.
• Physical boundary wire installation is also available if you prefer.
Smart installation, total control
Set up and control everything through the Automower® Connect app – map virtual boundaries, create mowing areas, and define stay-out zones around garden beds, pools, or paths. Adjust anytime to suit your lawn as it changes throughout the season.

Mow your way
Choose from striped, checkerboard, triangular or irregular mowing patterns to suit your finish.

Cut height adjusts electrically from 25 mm to 100 mm.

The 440 iQ covers up to 2.0 acres (8,000 m²) and handles slopes up to 45% (24°).

Large wheels and a rugged bumper handle surface transitions with ease – across paths, driveways and uneven ground.

IPX5 weather protection keeps the 440 iQ running in rain and heat, and blades swap out in minutes for straightforward maintenance.

How does the positioning technology work?
First, check whether your property is covered by Husqvarna Cloud.

If covered, the mower connects via the cloud at no extra cost, delivering positioning accuracy typically better than 5 cm.

If not covered, the included EPOS® RS1 reference station provides a stand-alone solution with accuracy of around 2–3 cm – no internet connection required.
