Tink’s is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We will not sell, share or rent this information to others in anyway.

Your Membership Account

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Tink’s reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion.

Email Correspondence

We will send three types of email messages to our customers; order confirmations, updates and a one off review reminder for each purchase. The updates will include specials and promotions from Tink’s. If you no longer wish to receive updates from us, you can unsubscribe by sending us an email.

To Place an Order

Tink’s requests that to place an order for major equipment, you need to create an account. At this point you must provide contact information. i.e. Name, address and telephone number. This information is used for billing and shipping purposes, warranty registrations, and contact information if necessary.

Please check with our business before placing your order if you are not sure of the correct part required.

Some equipment is limited to certain of our branches – if your n earest store’s indicator light is not green on the information page of the product you are trying to buy, it is not available through that store unfortunatley.

Errors and Omissions

Although we try to be accurate and error-free, inevitably mistakes do happen. Sometimes there can be errors in our pictures, descriptions or prices. Please email us at sales@tinks.com.au and ATTN: it to the Manager if you encounter an obvious error and we will rectify it immediately. If you are unsure of anything please contact us before making any purchase to ensure that there are no mistakes with product supply.

Tink’s offers a range of aftermarket parts. Where the customers nominated aftermarket brand is unavailable, Tink’s reserves the right to substitute for a compatible product of another brand to equal or greater value. Where the substituted brand is of lower value, a refund of the difference will be made.

Tink’s will reserve the right to refund any order for any customer who is abusive or does not read and understand all of our terms or threatens our business. We will not tolerate discrimination against any of our employees and will also look to refund any orders for customers who discriminate or are abusive to the Management or Staff of Tink’s.

We do not like making mistakes, but we are human and sometimes a parcel may find its way to another location by accident. If this does occur, Tink’s reserves the right to have that parcel forwarded on by that customer to the intended customer. We will then provide a full refund for the freight costs incurred.

Back Orders

Tink’s is one of Australia's largest privately owned Yard & Garden Equipment stores. We offer a great range of products and endeavour to do our best to stock as many items as we can. It is not possible to carry every item that is on our website in stock, and at certain times of the year our suppliers will not be able to supply us, because they do not have the stock themselves. This is unavoidable and we will do our best to have our site continually updated with product back-order dates. However, in certain cases, because of dispatch delays, it is possible for us to sell out of certain items.  We apologise for any occasions that orders cannot be supplied. We do our absolute best at all times. We reserve the right to offer a full refund on any order which goes to back-order with one of our suppliers.

Pricing

Due to circumstances beyond our control, product specifications and prices may change without notice. Also, prices change from time to time reflecting cost of acquisition, due mostly to currency fluctuations. Prices will be confirmed at time of order acceptance by Tink’s. We reserve the right to refund partial or complete orders due to supplier price increases. Suppliers constantly change pricing and due to this we may not always have the latest price online. We work diligently to keep pricing accurate, but this is sometimes impossible to do, and we will organise a full refund for any customer’s order if the new price is not accepted.

Product Warranty

Products sold and offered by Tink’s are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranty and guarantees. Tink’s are merely re-sellers of the products and are not responsible for any damages caused by these products, either directly or indirectly. When purchasing from Tink’s the buyer is waiving their right for any claims against the Company for any form of product liability caused by the product’s malfunction, defect or damage. Tink’s is only liable to the extent of the refund as stipulated and covered under conditions of sale.

New Machine Sales

All Machines & Equipment supplied by Tink’s as per our dealer agreements with our suppliers will be assembled and then tested in our premises. Freight carriers will then require oil / fuel to be removed for dispatch and the customers will then have to add fuel / oil before operation. We urge all customers to ensure they read the owners manuals provided before starting any new machines dispatched. We also request you call our service department to discuss if you have any questions before starting your machine.

Due to certain supplier restrictions and dealer agreements, we reserve the right to fully refund any order placed by a customer that is not in our Service area for that particular brand or model.

Whilst Tink’s accepts its legal obligations, and every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided in this website, be aware however, that to the extent permitted by law, Tink’s shall have no liability to any person or entity, with respect to any liability, misleading information, loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly from the use or reliance upon the information contained in this website.

Apart from actual Genuine Parts, all references to original Part Numbers and Trade Names are for identification purposes only.
