Returns & Refunds Policy – Online Sales

Where goods are supplied incorrectly by Tink’s, you may return most new items within seven (7) days of invoice date for a full refund, including your return freight costs.
However, there will be no refunds on electrical components that have been fitted, tested or incorrectly ordered.

We are happy to do exchange parts for incorrectly ordered parts – however thee will be subject to our Restocking Policy, see below.
If you need to make a return, please click the “Returns” link under the Customer Service section at the footer of our website.

You will need a copy of the emailed invoice sent to you, as we require your original order number and the product number you are returning for tracking purposes.
Your refund or credit will be processed upon receipt of the returned part, providing the part is still in saleable condition. It will be refunded in the same manner as you originally paid for your items (PayPal, Direct Deposit etc).
Please send any returns relating to online purchases to the issuing store - see your tax invoice for the address.

Returns & Refunds Policy – In Store + Click & Collect Sales

Where goods are selected or supplied incorrectly by Tink’s, you may return them to the original store within seven (7) days of invoice date for a full refund.
We cannot offer refunds on:

  • electrical components or parts that have been fitted and/or tested.
  • non electrical components that have been fitted & used, and are not faulty.
We are happy to offer an exchange in the above circumstances.
You will need a copy of the original invoice provided to you in order for us to process your refund or exchange.
Your refund or credit will be processed immediatley, providing that:
  • the part is still in saleable condition, in original packaging and accompanied by all owner’s manuals (if applicable).
  • if purchased via Card/EFTPOS, we must (by law) refund to the card you used to make the purchase.
  • if purchased via Apple Pay/Google Pay, the physical copy of thecard must be present – there is currently no way to refund via cards stored on your phone.

Restocking Policy

All returned items or cancelled orders that meet the following criteria:

  • are not found to be faulty
  • are spare parts, and were selected/chosen by yourself without consulting our parts interpreters
  • are not a stocked item line

will incur a 20% re-stocking fee, plus return freight expenses. We need to return these to our supplier, and suppliers charge us restocking fees in all instances.

Shipping

All deliveries are made via our shipping aggregate partners, InXpress, Shippit or BigPost. Your order may arrive via any of their courier partners (TNT, Fastway, Courtier’s Please plus others) depending on weight, quoted price and delivery times.

At this stage we only ship to the Eastern mainland states of Australia (VIC, NSW, ACT & QLD). Shippin to other states is prohibitive & often makes our items more epxensive than you can buy them for locally. When you place an order, our system will automatically estimate delivery costs. Any variation to shipping options that you may choose will be quoted individually.

Delivery time estimates will be based on the availability of the selected items and will be noted down in the availability section in our order system. If parts are no longer available from the supplier or are placed on backorder, we do our best to advise within 2 working days from the time of order confirmation.
Any orders placed after 10am may add 1 extra working day to delivery times, depending on the courier partner selected to deliver your order.

Oversized Items, Heavy & Bulky Goods

Shipping fees are initially based on your order total during checkout. Once we process your order for shipment we will determine the actual dimensions, weight, destination, carrier, and country limitations.
At that time, we reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees and/or cancel the order associated with oversized or heavy items, or any other limitations.
If this happens, you will be contacted via phone or email with instructions on how to proceed, along with an option to cancel your order.

International Orders

We do not ship internationally, sorry. Most of the brands we sell are available thorugh a local supplier/dealer in your country.

Dangerous Goods

We reserve the right to charge additional fees or refund any order for orders that are or contain dangerous goods (as classified by the Australian Transport Authority).
We will advise the extra charges that may apply, and the order may be cancelled at this time at your discretion. Dangerous Goods include some Pool Chemicals, Fertilisers, Aerosol Cans, Batteries, Oils & Some Lubricants.
PLEASE NOTE - If the shipping calculator can not work out freight costings to your postcode, you will not be able to check out. Please notify us so we can manually work out costs and fix the product link. Thank you.
