We recommend centirfugal pumps for flooded suction applications – where the pump will be installed below the level of the water tank.

Centrifugal pumps are much quieter than jet pumps, so can be installed against an exterior wall of the house, but preferably away from bedrooms.

Selecting the best pump for your application involves a conversation with one of our sales staff about flow & pressure requirements. For that reason we do not sell pumps online.

The CM Booster consists of three different configurations horizontal multistage centrifugal pumps and a Grundfos Pressure Manager.

  • CMB1-36 PM1 – 40l/min maximum flow, 36m maximum head/pressure, 0.50kW / 3.1A
  • CMB3-37 PM1 – 70l/min maximum flow, 37m maximum head/pressure, 0.50kW / 3.1A
  • CMB5-46 PM1 – 100l/min maximum flow, 46m maximum head/pressure, 0.90kW / 5.4A

Designed to deliver excellent pressure with lower energy demand than a jet pump, the Grundfos CM Booster Pump is the ultimate in quality household pumps.

The Pressure Manager (PM) controller automatically stops and starts the pump in line with household demand. In addition, the device prevents the pump from continuing to run if the water source runs dry. The PM also provides a cycling alarm, preventing the pump from rapidly turning on and off when there is a leaking pipe or dripping tap.
