Standard mower blades feature a smaller upward-angled trailing fin (or sail) than hi-lift blades.
Thids means they will use less power than hi-lift discharge blades, but in the right application (shorter, drier mowing conditions) they will still leave an excellent finish cut.
 
Discharge blades feature a single cutting surface designed to work in conjunction with the deck baffle kit to cut grass once and lay it back down in a single cut piece.
Because they cut the grass only once they are usually more energy than mulching blades.
In the right application (minimal reduction maintenance mowing) they will still leave an excellent finish.
 
These are the most energy efficient blade option, and are supplied with the KR800E Voyager by default.
