We recommend jet pumps for suction lift applications – where the pump will be installed above the level of the water tank. Jet pumps can be noisy when operating, so for this reason we recommend installation as far away from the house as practical.
Selecting the best pump for your application involves a conversation with one of our sales staff about flow & pressure requirements. For that reason we do not sell pumps online.
The Grundfos Jet Pump range comprises of four models, all built on the robust self priming Grundfos JP Pump to provide the right flow / pressure / power usage balance for your application.
- JP3-42 PM1 – 48l/min maximum flow, 42m maximum head/pressure, 0.72kW / 3.1A
- JP4-42 PM1 – 67l/min maximum flow, 42m maximum head/pressure, 0.85kW / 3.8A
- JP4-54 PM1 – 67l/min maximum flow, 54m maximum head/pressure, 1.13kW / 5.1A
- JP5-48 PM1 – 90l/min maximum flow, 48m maximum head/pressure, 1.49kW / 6.6A
Designed to have excellent suction lift capabilities, the Grundfos Jet Pump is able to draw water up to 8 metres vertically from below the level of the pump. This makes it perfect for pumping water from below ground tanks, dams and shallow wells.
Excellent corrosion resistance is ensured inside and out with a stainless steel pump housing and composite impeller material.
The Pressure Manager (PM) controller automatically stops and starts the pump in line with household demand. In addition, the device prevents the pump from continuing to run if the water source runs dry. The PM also provides a cycling alarm, preventing the pump from rapidly turning on and off when there is a leaking pipe or dripping tap.
